Usually, competition for two-word keyword phrases are very stiff, you might not be able to stand out from all other websites that uses the same keywords so the key is to come up with long tail keywords. Long tail keywords have high number of search and low competition. Once you came up with a list of possible keywords you can use, go to Google Keyword Tool, enter one keyword at a time and see how tough the competition for that keyword. Any keyword under 50, 000 is great. Essentially, you need to look for keywords with low competition.
Don’t forget to check the top ten results listed on the Google Keyword Tool to determine how stiff the competition is. If the sites listed on the top ten are similar to the website you are flipping, there is a good chance of landing on the list using standard SEO. However, if you are seeing sites like About.com, Wikipedia or government sites, you will have a hard time landing the top ten without applying advanced SEO strategies.
